RALPH SHEARING
President
Mr. Shearing is an experienced and accomplished exploration and mining executive holding a designation of Professional Geologist registered in Alberta (APEGA). Since 1987 he has held senior executive positions of CEO and/or President with public junior mining and exploration companies, primarily with Luca Mining Corp., a company he founded in 1986 and successfully guided through the exploration and initial development construction phase of the Tahuehueto gold mine located in northwestern Durango México. Currently Mr. Shearing is the CEO of Goldgroup Mining Inc. which operates the Cerro Prieto heap leach gold mine in Sonora State Mexico. Mr. Shearing’s extensive experience of managing junior public companies, guiding project exploration, development and mine construction, combined with his keen insight to identify quality mineral exploration and mining assets are a welcome addition to Hawthorn Resources Corp.
STEPHEN SULIS
CFO & Secretary
Mr. Stephen Sulis currently works as Chief Financial Officer for a number of TSX-V and CSE listed companies, predominately in the resource sector, both in Canada and around the globe. His professional experience includes financial reporting for exploration and mining companies, implementation of accounting software, various equity financings and implementation of internal control policies. In addition to his accounting experience, Mr. Sulis previously worked in the financial sector with TD Canada Trust. Mr. Sulis holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration as well as an advanced diploma in international business studies.

Director
Neil MacRae is a mining investor relations professional with 29 years of experience in investor relations, commodities trading, and corporate development within the global mining industry. Mr. MacRae has held successful investor relations roles with such companies as First Majestic Silver Corp, Sherwood Copper (sold to Capstone Mining), Farallon Mining (sold to Nyrstar), Novagold Resources, and Santacruz Silver Mining.
DANIEL JOYCE
Director
Mr. Joyce has over 25 years of varied business experience in both public and private markets. His broad experience, covering global sourcing and execution, has involved leading core functional areas including accounting, finance, operations, marketing, and sales. He has held senior positions at Rocky Mountaineer, Creo, Westcoast Energy, and AXA Pacific Insurance.
SAMANTHA SHORTER
Director
Ms. Shorter is a senior finance and accounting professional in the mineral exploration sector and has served as CFO of venture companies. She has extensive international experience with development projects as well as operating assets. Ms. Shorter was previously an audit manager at a major Canadian accounting firm specializing in the mining industry and has extensive experience providing financial reporting and corporate services to companies in the mining and mineral exploration industries.
KEVIN BREWER
Director
Kevin Brewer, is a registered professional geoscientist with over 30 years of progressive managerial positions and extensive exposure to all aspects of exploration, project management, environment management and mine engineering. He is currently the President and Chief Executive Officer of CMC Metals Ltd., a growth stage company focused on the exploration of precious and base metals in Canada.
